Gutenbergs Hotel

Noisy and and the most decieving and frustrating reception service. When you request a quiet room and you are assured this is going to happen. Only to be waken up my 3-00 am by drunks in the next room and persons compulating all night around you and then to be informed by the front desk it is not happening and they have done all they can to rectify the problem. By the way the my complaint was not rectified after my numerous requests for a room change. The front desk service was appalling. When you have to step outside the hotel at 5-00 pm in the morning in minus zero and go walking to get peace and quiet I have problem with this hotel. When you get zero hours sleep honestly what am I paying for? My advice save your money and your peace of mind and stay at another 4 star hotel in Riga Avoid this Hotel.

We stayed at Gutenbergs the first time we came to Riga after a long long break at it was good. Now, almost 10 years after, we chose to stay there again an it was as good as it was before. I like the building, the style and interior, the atmosphere, the service, even breakfast - all is good. Highly recommend, not matter what is the reason of your trip and how long ou plan to stay there

The hotel was great, staff was very accommodating, respectful, and helpful. We look forward to staying there again and we will make sure to stay here on every trip!

בית המלון ממוקם במרכז העיר העתיקה בצמידות לכיכר הקתדרלה המרכזית ובמרחק של כמה דקות הליכה מכל המקומות בעיר העתיקה. צוות המלון יעיל מאוד ומנסה ממש לבוא לקראת הלקוחות ולנסות ליצור להם את החוויה הטובה ביותר, וזה מאוד מורגש ובצורה יוצאת דופן לטובה מבתי מלון אחרים, גם בריגה עצמה. עם זאת, החדרים מעבירים הרגשה די מיושנת והמיטות די לא נוחות. בנוסף, רמת הניקיון לאורך השהות לא טובה במיוחד, כאשר במשך ארבעה ימים לא בוצע שום ניקיון בחדר, לא הוחלפו מצעים ולא הובאו סבונים חדשים (רק סידרו את המצעים) עד שפנינו לקבלה בנושא. ארוחת הבוקר טובה, אך יכולה להיות מעט יותר מגוונת, בהשוואה לבתי מלון אחרים בריגה.

Helpful staff. Good breakfast. Clean and comfortable room. The WiFi in my room was unreliable.

We had an amazing stay in Gutenbergs Hotel, we loved the location and character of this hotel, their rooms are full of history, and the food and atmosphere of its restaurant in the rooftop was excellent. Все прекрасно. Завтраки уже не по меню,а полноценный шведский стол. Один из работников на ресепшн Лев, прям вписывается своим видом разговором в 19 век отеля, очень атмосферно!

Everything was great: the location is right near the cathedral, the rooms were clean, comfortable, and a lot more spacious than we expected, the breakfast was delicious, and the rooftop restaurant even more so, and the service was very friendly (special thanks to Levs for telling us everything about the medieval churches). Definitely going to stay there again the next time I am in Riga.
