Needs cushions on bench in the Bluebonnet room. Rock steps can be a little perilous for those with diminished coordination.
Second time we've stayed. The property was purchased by new owners a couple years ago and they are very busy making improvements and additions. It is a great place to stay if you want to relax and recuperate for a bit! The walk into the square (interesting restaurants and shops) is only 10-15 min. Be on the lookout for cool funky yard art in some of the homes on the way.

Amy was so helpful, she set us up for a couples massage on short notice. The seating by the creek was relaxing. The staff was so nice. Planning to go again next year.
While the service and staff here was really wonderful, I feel that the $350 per night was WAYYYY too expensive for this room and property. There was a nasty non-working pond in front of the room, it looked like a 3rd grader had painted and textured the walls, everything was cheaply done, if not done by perhaps non-professionals. I would stay here again if the prices weren’t so high, I just feel that for the money one can find a much, much nicer room or suite.
Pleasant stay in a scenic wooded environment while being less than half mile from town's shopping & dining area. Excellent service from staff. Quaint surroundings and lodging amenities. Deer regularly walking through the property was cute.
