The location was close to town but felt like you were far from it. It was peaceful, beautiful and deer watching was great. There was plenty to do or you could just relax like we did. Even though it looked rural outside, the rooms and dining room were as nice as any I have used. We will be back.

The location and staff and bed were great! I was disappointed that there were not many inviting areas to sit and enjoy the out of doors. Most of the seating areas around the inn, were dusty and a bit stale. There was only one area along the creek where you could sit and put your feet in the water (where the kyacks were) and that had people there most of our visit. So if you didn't get there first, you were out of luck.
The grounds were beautiful, the bed was comfy and breakfast was to die for. The innkeepers are very friendly and accommodating as well. We will be back.
I took my granddaughter to Wimberly for overnight sightseeing/shopping trip. Although possible to walk along the narrow roadside to shopping, we chose a very quick drive into the center of town. Our room was clean and comfortable. What made Creekhaven stand out for us was the service. From the time we checked in until departure the staff (especially Martha) made us feel welcome and special. Oh, and stay for the breakfast - it was delicious!
The property was on a beautiful Creek with a swimming hole to swim in with water so clean you could see the fish swimming around you...the best were so comfortable with the softest sheets I've ever felt and breakfast was spectacular. Finally the staff was amazing and friendly we will be back every couple months!
Wonderful location and breakfast. Creek side view and tranquil. 10 minute walk to the town square and 5 mins from blue hole.
