What a wonderful over night stay.... next time I'll book a longer stay. Owner Don and Helena were outstanding, especially since Don came to my rescue late that night after I realized that I'd locked us out of the room. Gorgeous grounds, yummy breakfast and extremely comfortable room. Wonderful for relaxation!
I wasn't able to check in until 11 pm because of my work. Everything was ready for me when I arrived and check in was seamless. Wish I could've enjoyed the property more as it's gorgeous but I only stayed one night and had to leave early the next morning.
This property has new owners, Helena/Don Hauk. The assistant Inn Keeper is Martha. The owners are personable, accommodating, caring, and approachable. Their overall attentiveness to the guest is phenomenal! Martha is just a jewel; warm, friendly, knowledgeable of Wimberley and prepares a yummy breakfast. Don and Helena have big plans for Creekhaven B&B. This duo is so right for this picturesque corner of the Hill Country. We love the space it occupies and the blessed couple who operate it. We will return because of Don, Helena and Martha. We had a beautiful four night stay. The grounds are scenic and serene. The quiet land scape lives in harmony with nature. We encourage you to take the time and visit Creek Haven Bed and Breakfast.
We enjoyed staying here and primarily chose this location over others for the waterfront features and in-room jacuzzi. We had a nice time, but felt it was a little expensive for what we got. As another reviewer noted, the inn is just not really luxury. Breakfast was good but limited. The furniture and decor felt a little dated. We loved the tub in our room "The Treehouse," but the shower (with cool extra jets) never got above lukewarm - which is not great in January! I might stay here again just because a huge jetted bathtub is hard to find, but would hope the new owners did a facelift. Paint and new linens would go along way!
Everything about the Creekhaven Inn was amazing. Helena was so kind and informative about the Inn and the surrounding area. The room had an amazing view of the river, lovely fireplace and was very quiet. We will definitely return in the future!
We absolutely LOVED Creekhaven Inn!! I highly recommend it to anyone. The place was beautiful and so peaceful!!
This is a great place to relax and enjoy beautiful central Texas scenery on the premises. Very cosy rooms and guest house. The owner and staff have making you feel at home their #1 priority. It is walking distance to the shops in Wimberly square and several restaurants.
