Lamothe House

Beautiful property, well maintained & clean. My king room was spacious, comfortable & didn’t I catch his name but guy at check-in was very pleasant. The biggest highlights are the Pool - it’s clean, plenty of seating & so refreshing!!. The location can’t be beat. It’s literally 1 block from Frenchman St - so close enough to Bourbon but far away enough to be quiet & civilized. Highly recommend (& ask for a room by the “back gate” and you are even closer to all the action!)

Perfect location

Coming out of your room into the courtyard where the pool and a fountain is, very beautiful! The bathroom was clean and modern, the bed was comfy and clean! Had a gorgeous lobby also!

The only thing I didn’t care for was the parking situation. Wasn’t aware that you had to pay $40 for parking and the parking lot wasn’t on property ( but understandable because the layout of the neighborhood, it’s historic and close quarters). Didn’t feel exactly safe if you had to walk from the lot to the hotel at night or something. But it was only like a 30 second walk which I didn’t mind, just wasn’t aware when we booked, maybe I overlooked it somehow.

Cleaning was not good

Our first time visiting New Orleans and it will definitely will not be my last. Lamothe house hotel was beautiful. The hotel is kept very well for a vintage building and the area is full of history. Our suite was great, clean and spacious. The courthouse was amazing. I want to give big props to Ms. Carol who helped us immensely when we arrive. She’s was very polite and helpful. I’mso happy I chose this hotel. Thank you for everything.
