Lamothe House

Praticamente tutto. L’hotel è situato in una dimora storica e soggiornare qui ti fa sentire ancora più immerso nella atmosfera magica di New Orleans. Camere spaziose e confortevoli. Staff gentile e disponibile, pronto a risolvere qualunque tipo di problema o imprevisto. La piscina, accessibile a tutte le ore, ha aggiunto un plus al soggiorno. Consigliatissimo

Pool, comfortable beds, beautiful building, in French quarter and short walk to quite a few sights. They close the pool to clean/shock mid week so check before you jump in.

Some rooms are actually across the street in a separate building. The room was gorgeous (obviously newer than the ones in the original building) but the wifi didn’t reach and I didn’t feel as safe as there was no fence. They did move me for my second night onwards because of the wifi problem. Do ask if you need wifi.

A localização é maravilhosa! Perto dos principais pontos turísticos como a catedral, cafe du monde e bourbon street. Os funcionários são excelentes tanto da recepção quanto da limpeza. Valeu muito a pena.

We had the most amazing stay at this incredible hotel. We chose it for its authentic historic southern charm and location and regarding both of these this hotel went above and beyond. But more than that or shall I say the icing on the cake was how incredibly hospitable, friendly and helpful the staff was. We had a little issue and needed a room change and they immediately accommodated us without any fuss- we simply had to ask. But we especially enjoyed day to day good mornings, banter, and informational conversations regarding the history of the hotel/area from both amazing front desk agents Ms. Carol & Kellen! And I’m sad I didn’t get to say goodbye but enjoyed my poolside visits with Ms. Pam. The stay and staff are exceptional. Oh and the popcorn is the best I’ve ever had!!! We will definitely stay here again!

Posizione silenziosa, ma a due passi da Frenchmen street. Casa coloniale. Stanza grande e ben arredata.

LA posizione splendida , ottima per girare a piedi

Pultroppo la nostra stanza non era nella struttura centrale . Era su un altra strada con un corridoio stretto e la camera era buia e minuscola . Ci si adatta intendiamoci , ma sicuramente anche sé piccole le stanze nel corpo centrale sarebbe più piacevole . Comunque la posizione era fantastica

The staff accommodated an upgrade when my first room was not as great (see below). They had a lovely attitude about the whole thing and were very helpful and nice.

I was originally booked in an "interior" room, which had no windows at all! This made for a dreary experience. I would not have been as upset by this if I'd known ahead of time this was the case for an inexpensive room or even if I knew it was a possibility, but being surprised by this fact was quite annoying. It seems this would be a selling point for people seeking an Anne Rice New Orleans experience.
