Lamothe House

It is a charming character building and the location was excellent in easy walking from both Bourbon and Frenchmen streets

We got there and they casually mentioned they were changing our room due to lack of AC. Took us to a room with one bed (our reservation was for two beds), then switched us to a room with two beds at my insistence. AC did not work in that room either. Mentioned it to staff who didn’t say anything in response. Manager was nice, but staff had no customer service skills. No mention of WiFi or ice. Good location, rooms were lovely, but not very comfortable. Manager took off parking fee for inconvenience.

It’s very clean. The pool is beautiful. The staff is nice. The location is great. We walked basically everywhere in the French Quarter. The price was very good.

If you get any of the lower rooms like 115 through 120, there’s a large back gate door that is very heavy and very loud and you hear it slam from your room all day and all night. The hot tub does not work.

Lovely and authentic stay at the north end of the French quarter. Room was small but had everything we needed (except a fridge). Lovely pool and staff.

Every room should have a fridge! Especially in the heat. Also, the TV was a little faulty at times, solved by jiggling the aerial cable a bit.

Friendly staff, excellent location, pool,

No hot water And the people that run the hotel don’t care. Pay your gas bill.. having to take cold showers is not acceptable.
