Brookings Inn

Older hotel but great stay for the price.

There was a trail cam in our room (although no batteries or SD card) so that kept us on edge for our stay but the other hotels were all sold out this weekend so we didn't have any other options. The bed was barely sitting on a wooden 1x6 and kept falling off. The bathroom had peeling paint, holes in the walls, and a slow draining tub. Limited breakfast options. Just cereal, waffles, and bagels/bread in ziplock. There was a guy cutting up bikes in the back of his truck in the back of the lot. The whole experience was pretty rough.

Our room had a leaky sink with a dirty rag underneath and neither the tv nor the WiFi was working.

Roman had food on the floor, building itself looked ok but the hall up to the room was dingy and not very nice.

Room was fine, quiet and comfortable.

The rooms need updating badly. Increase your room prices and waterpark wristband prices, and put that extra revenue towards remodeling. Our kids still loved the waterpark. The water was freezinggg cold in the lazy river/park area, but that didn’t stop the kids from having a blast. Hot tub and regular pool were perfect temps. Staff was all very friendly.

The lazy river/play area of the pool had extremely cold water. It was so fun but hard to enjoy due to the water temp. Other than that everything was good considering the price.
