Harbourside Inn

I am trying to get a refund. We stayed 5 minutes and checked out. The room and hallways reeked of cigarette smoke and I’m asthmatic so couldn’t stay

I booked an overnight stay at this "hotel" through the Airmiles site. I wondered about it when my cousin asked me why I would want to stay there? Found out why on arrival....the Harbourside is essentially a homeless or low income shelter!!! There are signs on the door warning that no drinking or smoking weed is allowed. Also that the doors will be locked at 10pm. Not staying there!!! Ended up at the Comfort Inn. Check review elsewhere. Have contacted Airmiles to strongly suggest they remove this hotel from their program, and to request a refund of my Airmiles used for the booking. I cannot post any pictures because mine did not turn out well, and also because there were many people in front if the facility, and I have no wish to cause them any embarrassment. Airmiles will hopefully now take care that this place is removed from their website.

Barbara who's been there for years was an absolute pleasure to deal with. She's very kind and treats everyone with respect, she understands true hospitality. The rooms have a/c and free parking. It's a nice budget place to stay, though don't expect the highest standards. There's also a huge amount of homeless ppl smoking in front and that's clearly wofted into the lobby. I wouldn't blame the staff for that though. Cheers, Steve

Terrible! I never write reviews, but this needs to be known! Stinks like cigarettes, unsafe area, not cleaned at all! Sticky rings on tables, stains on bedding, it was gross!!!!!

My husband and I will never stay here again. The toilet plugged up, twice, with little use. Lamented floor was sticky, lamp shade mangled, holes in drapes. Hotel was old, very old, dirty elevator, smelly.
