The G Hotel and Spa

Lovely hotel, with a great restaurant. A little out of the way in terms of restaurants, pub scene, just requires a bit of extra walking.

The staff is excellent.

Absolutely loved The g Hotel. It is a beautiful hotel. Close to everything. Our room was amazing. The spa was very relaxing and the breakfast was fantastic. Looking forward to returning.

G hotel does not have a courtesy car to city centre despite being noted on the website. Furthermore we were woken up with works being completed outside of our room. Unfortunately not to the standard of a five star hotel

Great stay 8 nights Excellent service all around Staff top class Bar and breakfast superb Only negative was Sunday night at residents bar March 16th The local travelling clientel disrupted a nice night and apparently are above house rules Resident bar closed early due to disturbance Other than that one event all good Suggest all guests abide by house rules or get evicted

Staff was great. Comfortable room with a beautiful water front room.

I loved the valet parking and the immensely helpful staff.

The G hotel is a lovely choice for anyone staying in Galway. Overall, the hotel style is very unique and beautiful. You can tell in some areas though that the hotel is starting to show its age and could use some refurbishing in our guest room the shower nozzle that controlled the temperature was completely broken, causing for freezing showers for the first portion of our stay, and then extremely hot showers for the final portion of our stay. Service could also be improved. I found myself often completely ignored by the staff in the bar areas. I would consider staying again but would likely seek out other options such as The Dean.

The bed was incredibly comfortable. The service was excellent and the breakfast was sooooo good. I stayed in 5 different hotels across Ireland and the G Hotel was the best, by far!
