Great location and comfy sheets and bed! Lovely breakfast. House is old, but quaint.

This was the cutest little inn. It's a historical building with vintage charm and reminded us of staying with family. The ladies who ran the Inn were so kind and they cook fresh meals for you daily. Its directly next to awesome eateries and only a two block walk to The Square.

This place had old yellow bed sheets and pillow covers. The toilet had poop streaks on the bowl. No remote control in order to turn off the tv. The whole room smelled like wet mold and air quality was poor. It had an old roll of toilet paper that was obviously used because the inside cardboard roll was missing and the roll was crushed. After being in the room for 15 minutes the placed felt like a hunted house experience No a better description is a ICHY nightmare. I expressed to the host that this was not what I expected and after hesitation to offer any solutions or refund $150 per night. I gladly drove over to any of the other dozen hotels with hygienic standards and payed half the cost. Do Not Fall For The Old World Charm This Place Is Disgusting and Looks ICHY.

Place is a bit run down. Our room was dark, and nothing on the walls for decor. Overhead light flickered. TV remote wouldn’t control the TV and would only control cable for 10 seconds after removing and reinserting batteries. Toilet was dirty. AC window unit turned up enough to cool the room was loud. Coffee maker outside room but no regular coffee only decaf. Disappointing breakfast. Just disappointing overall. Left a night early even though we paid for two nights.

The Perdanales is very small and doesn't really look like the picture. It was warm when we got there. The owner allowed us to stay in the room across the hall for two nights since that room was not booked. I believe it was the Bosque. It was much nicer. The Perdanales shower/bathtub was less than desirable. It was an old bathtub rigged with a shower curtain around it. The cooking staff was very nice. The food during the week was good, but not amazing. The weekend breakfast was awesome. I am gluten free so I was VERY impressed that they asked about dietary preferences when we checked in. They accommodated me on that. They even made me gluten free pancakes when they had bread pudding for everyone else. All and all I would recommend this place. However, I would not recommend staying in the Perdanales room.

We had a perfect experience. The staff is fabulous and so friendly. Loved the outdoor space. The personal breakfast in the morning was amazing. Very nice experience and would stay again.

My daughter and I had a fantastic long weekend here! We stayed in the Thomas House, and just loved everything. The ambiance and comfort were great, and honestly, the breakfast every morning was so fantastic! Now that I'm a Bobcat parent, this will be my home when I come visit. Thank you all for such a great experience!!!

Hosted my sisters bachelorette party here for a Murder mystery weekend . It was just our party for the weekend and mystery . All the ladies had a great time and are ready to do another mystery . Cathy , Mike and the girls were very accommodating and made us all feel like we were at home . Everything was clean and the food was plentiful and very good . Loved the old historic feel of the inn. Poor Mike helped us all along with the murder mystery . At times we were a bit out of control- very hard for 14 women to speak one at a time 🤣. We got the hang of it by Saturday morning . We had a great time and actually two of us figured out the mystery !

This place is my new go-to in San Marcos. Walking distance to the Square. Fantastic staff. Couldn't recommend more.
