The Crystal River Inn

Such a cute and quaint place to stay in. It was the perfect spot to split up our trip and rest our eyes. Breakfast in the morning was amazing and all the innkeepers were very nice.

This is my first time to stay in a historic house or a bed and breakfast. I LOVE historic homes and was excited to be here.

The location is super convenient to the square, restaurants & retail. Loved the proximity to fun. The staff was very nice and easy to park. The down side, the room we stayed in had no hot water and it was practicably impossible to take a shower in the stand up tub without spraying the bath room with water as there were no shower curtains to go along with the cold water. And, although the door to our room felt locked when using the key or inside locking component. You could simply push on the door from the outside hall way and the door would open. Luckily nobody came in the room while we were out in the evening. The place can definitely use some upgrades.

We needed a couples getaway and booked 1 night at this wonderful historic mansion Bed and Breakfast. Check in was perfect. Accommodations wonderful we stayed in the Cypress Creek room. The Inn has ample parking. Great gardens and is within walking distance to downtown. Close to Texas State and the San Marcos river. The inn keeper was very polite and helpful. There are two homes that are side by side. Rates were great for the area. WiFi worked great and the room had wonderful linens and towels. Very clean rooms with great air conditioning! It was a pleasure to stay here! We would do it again. Highly recommended for a getaway. The owners are great and take pride in their Inn! This is a hidden gem. Thank you Cathy and Paula for having us!

We loved the unique Victorian look AND the amazing stuff with their delicious homemade breakfast 😋 The only dislike is the street noise do to having a Main Street right in front of the place. Kept us up most of the night but that’s what you expect when there is a college nearby but other than it was good. It’s surrounded by nice restaurants
