Very disappointing experience regarding payment handling. The stay had already been prepaid through Booking.com, yet the hotel staff requested a second payment at check-in. The mistake was acknowledged by the staff on the next morning, and I was promised a reimbursement within days. Despite repeated messages, phone calls with management, and formal complaints, I still have not received the refund to date (one month later). An invoice sent days later was also incorrect, as it omitted the second payment entirely, and despite my requests, it was never corrected. The hotel has now stopped answering emails altogether. Unfortunately, I will now have to pursue this matter through formal legal and consumer protection channels. I cannot recommend this hotel based on how this issue has been handled. Edit: only after this review was posted on Booking.com did the hotel management finally contact me to confirm the reimbursement, which was ultimately received more than 5 weeks after our stay. Management also asked me to remove the “bad” review; however, since the review accurately reflects what happened, including the delayed refund, it remains unchanged. A correct invoice has not yet been made available to me.
