Hostal Cloud Forest

Hostal Cloud Forest was a great place to land after a day of trekking from Isinlivi to Chugchilan on the Quilotao Loop. We met lovely people people there who were also on the hike. The shower felt amazing after a day of sweating and we really enjoyed the fireplace in the common area to chat with other trekkers.

Nice room and view! A short distance from where you need to pick up the Quilotoa Loop trail the next morning.

Wonderful dinner and breakfast. Huge room with very comfy bed and warm shower. Useful information about the Quilotoa Loop.

The price on Booking.com isn't correct. The private double room was $37 instead of $18 as listed here. They were very apologetic about it but I don't understand why they haven't changed it yet.

The Cloud Forest hostel was a very cozy stay. Our room was lovely and the beds were so so comfortable! The food was delicious, we enjoyed all the meals and the staff were lovely.

The games room and other facilities were quite run down and there wasn't many spaces for us to read/play games outside of the room but we were the only guests so this didn't bother us as much.

Nice place and the staff were great - bumped me up from a dorm to my own private room for no extra cost. Food was very nice

Gets very cold in the evening and nowhere really to sit and relax comfortably bar your room

Spacious bedroom, great hot shower

Compared to our previous night on the quilotoa we were a bit disappointed with the accomodations at the cloud forest. The common spaces seemed to be in the middle of construction.
