Hotel Bloemendal, near Aachen

Well presented building and grounds.the spa and pool facilities were top notch, the restaurant and bar seating in the garden terrace were sufficient to give us space from other guests. Although if the suns out in Holland everyone wants to be on the terrace. The hotel was not fully booked for the days we were there. The restaurant dishes were great and to the quality expected of such a venue.

The sauna and steam area didn’t open unit 2pm which was disappointing as we had planned to use them after our morning exercise in the gym and pool.

Prachtige kamer en goed ontbijt

Er was een bruiloft met veel geluidsoverlast tot 12 uur s nachts. Feestje prima maar we konden de muziek geheel mee volgen en zingen in onze kamer. Je mag verwachten dat zo’n luxe hotel een geluidsarme feestruimte heeft of de gasten vooraf informeert zodat we voor een ander weekend hadden kunnen kiezen.

Nous avions une chambre côté parc, donc très calme avec une très belle vue. La proximité du centre ville de Vaals avec ses nombreux magasins et restaurants, et à à peine 10 minutes en voiture nous étions à Aachen (Aix-la-Chapelle). C'est la deuxième fois que nous logeons ici et plus que satisfait pour tout. Le prix pour une chambre type "château" (car oui effectivement nous séjournons dans un château) est vraiment raisonnable et la possibilité de parquer votre véhicule est assurée et gratuite.

Le prix du petit-déjeuner est un peu excessif. Nous avions la chambre 7 au deuxième étage avec une très belle et grande terrasse, mais nous ne pouvions pas y accéder. Apparemment uniquement la chambre 6 d'à côté avait un accès, alors que la grandeur de la terrasse permet certainement à 3 logements d'en bénéficier.

Serviço de limpeza e recepção +/-. Elevador quebrado. Tivemos que subir até o 2° andar com as malas pela escada.
