"Another wonderful stay"

We discovered the Manor last November and loved it, so looked forward to our return trip. Room had a fireplace and whirlpool tub (stayed in the Wellington). Everyone was so nice, always asking how our stay was, anything they could do. Food was excellent. Afternoon tea and biscuits in the library was a nice touch.

My husband and I booked a quick last minute get away to the Manor on Golden Pond. Overall, the stay was great. Service was excellent and all of the employees we encountered were very friendly and accommodating. The breakfast was delicious. Our room was very nice. Large and the in-room fireplace was a great touch. Our only regret is that we only had 1 night there. We will definitely be back.

"Grand dame with great bones "

The Manor is a comfortable spot to stay for a camp pick up or drop off. The hotel looks like it needs some updating and a bit of TLC outside but it's charming and the rooms are very spacious. Breakfast is included and is delicious.

"Old and worn out."

The Manor is simply run down and in need of repair, which is evident everywhere. Virtually no cell phone reception and no reliable internet. Main house is far better than the cottages but a disappointing experience.

If you are a fan of the movie, you will be pleased to spend time here close to "Golden Pond". The owners of the lodge are fantastic and welcoming and its a tranquil place to stay to enjoy the area!

"New Hampshire's finest"

Excellent service. Friendly and helpful staff. Food was superb. Room clean and charming. The setting is terrific. Wonderful clay tennis court and beautiful pool. Had two dinners, two breakfast and two picnic lunches. All were first class. Good wines, too.
