The Manor on Golden Pond

The view from the room we stayed in was awesome.The staff were very nice and helpful . The breakfast that's included was prepared to order and delish,The temp went down to the 50's at night and we lit the fireplace in the room and it gave a charming feel of comfort and warmth.It has a full bar and restaurant in house.Would stay again !

Very cozy. Felt like we had the place to ourselves but there seemed to be fully booked. Breakfast was Excellent as was our dinner.

A very nice overnight stay. The room had a wood burning fireplace which was neat and most unusual. I gave my husband a spa service, hot stone massage for Father’s Day. He really enjoyed it. We look forward to coming back!

If you love B&Bs with relishes food, beautiful scenery, and friendly staff you have to try this manor. I will try to get back for a s cons visit. This is a well experienced management and they don’t leave out any details. From the toiletries to the candlelight baths, this is a winner.

A lovely old building kept in very good shape. Clean room and spotless bathroom. The grounds are spacious and well groomed. The pool is in excellent condition. And the tennis court, while obviously not used very much, was also in good shape. Quiet and restful. An excellent dining room. We especially enjoyed breakfast while the sun reflected off of the lake below. The staff was very helpful and friendly. They obviously cared about the welfare and comfort of their guests. We plan on returning this winter.

Very romantic... Beautiful Manor.... Exactly what we were looking for...

My husband and I took my elderly parents up to the Lakes Region in NH for a long weekend. Found this beautiful property on Travelocity - what a find. Gorgeous accommodations, wonderful food, beautiful area - lots to do. My husband and dad went golfing, while I took my mom to the Tanger outlets for some shopping. Took a dinner cruise on the Mount Washington and then a train ride around the lake the next day. Great time, beautiful scenery, great food, wonderful staff - very helpful. Highly recommend the Manor - can't wait top go back.

The manor was ok, the staff was fantastic. It wasn't really water front. There was no place on the property where you could be next to the water. There is one spot in the front yard area where you have a distant view of Squam Lake. The included breakfast was great, just wished they offered room service. Dinner was just ok, and also pricey.
