The Manor on Golden Pond

We've been coming to this beautiful venue for many years now. We were delighted to see the improvements being made by the new owners. The Pub is a great addition to the dining options. The Mirador wedding venue will be spectacular for weddings. The staff were incredibly nice and helpful. Lots of "sprucing up" was in evidence. Thanks for a lovely stay - totally recommend!

Classic New England Lodging. Beautiful, Great food, beautiful views of the lake and area. Staff excellent. Very attentive and more than helpful. Room was very clean and comfortable. Its location is centrally located for day trips. The Hostess was charming and very polite and helpful. Very accommodating for our needs with an adjoining room for our son. Quiet, peaceful setting. Wonderful.

Great stay overall but want to specifically call out Meghan (sp?) who was welcoming and extremely responsive to any requests we had. Location is ideal, rooms were clean and seemed to be recently updated, and the staff was great. Would stat again.

I last reviewed this Inn in 2019, and gave it 3 stars. On coming back 5 years later we were impressed by the major renovations and upgrades in the rooms while still keeping the historic look and comfort of an old inn. Our room was spacious and immaculate with period furniture and modern conveniences. We were offered and took advantage of an afternoon tea tray with snacks, enjoying it on our small deck overlooking the pond and hills.Large sitting rooms off the dining rooms with books and games. Bar and pub. Beautiful grounds. Brand new function hall and large swimming pool. Very friendly and helpful staff. It's hard to get 5 stars from me, but I was impressed with the inn and we had a wonderful stay.

Beautiful place in Wilderness

Lovely inn with clean comfortable amenities.

We stayed at this expensive B&B but on Tuesday and Wednesday they have no services. They offered us yogurt and berries and croissants on Tuesday and Wednesday am. No other breakfast. On Wednesday am. They didn’t even had berries and the croissants were stale from the day before. They are rated 4 stars but no room service. Their answer to our disappointment was we should have read their website and that it is Expedia fault. Don’t go there on a Monday or Tuesday and think you will get a B&B experience Not a $475 / night experience. Disappointed. We would like a refund

Never really saw staff. Doors were open not locked through the night. Felt very isolating and there was a lack of phone service which was concerning.

Quite wonderful retreat with change of scenery. Safe.

Great bed, shower, fresh scent, location, view from the suite windows.
