The Manor on Golden Pond

We visited the Manor in January and greeted by Meghan as we walked in! Her warm welcome and service throuout or stay was fantastic! We look forward to returning soon😊

This place is absolutely beautiful, in a very traditional way! Although we did not stay the night we did view some rooms and enjoyed a delectable meal in the Van Horne dining room. The driveway up to the Inn was lined with granite light posts and trees with white lights. The manor itself was decked out in traditional holiday decor. We sat in front of a real crackling fire AND the food was AMAZING!!!

This place is an absolute gem! The holiday spirit was palpable, creating a warm and festive atmosphere throughout our stay. The staff was incredibly welcoming, attentive, and made us feel right at home. The food was nothing short of exceptional — every meal was a delight. The views from our room were breathtaking, offering stunning scenery in both the vibrant colors of fall and the serene beauty of winter. It was the perfect setting for a peaceful getaway. Overall, our stay exceeded expectations. From the ambiance to the service, every detail was thoughtfully curated, making it a truly memorable experience. We can’t wait to return!

My wife and I shared our honeymoon at the Manor and absolutely loved it. The service was fantastic and the ambience was nice and cozy. Our dinners each night were to die for as each meal was better than the last. Our room was perfect as it was one of the first remodels under the new ownership. The beds are the most comfortable I’ve ever slept on and we woke up more refreshed than ever each morning. We have since gone back 3 more times over this past year and we’re able to see all the progress of the renovations. It’s amazing to see what they have accomplished so far. We even attended a wedding in the Mirador and it was beautiful inside and out. Lastly, the owners, Robert and Hannah, were so gracious and helpful with any requests we had. They made us feel like we were at home. They are such wonderful people and we won’t hesitate to go back as soon as we can. I would highly recommend a stay for anyone. It won’t let you down!

A friend recommended the Manor to us, and it was everything she described and more! The ambiance of the entire property from the wood-burning fireplaces, to the excellent service. We couldn't help but immediately relax once we stepped inside. Both restaurants on site were delicious, and the rooms were immaculate. The fireplace in the room was the perfect touch, we barely left the hotel! Absolutely recommend this hotel. The service and staff were warm and wonderful!

My husband and I were gifted a beautiful weekend here for our honeymoon and could not have fell in love harder! We will be creating many more memories here!

We stayed there first weekend in November. Beautiful location, accommodating staff and delicious meals. Can’t say enough about this place. Trying a hidden gem and we will be back again

Fantastic place. Cottages are clean, with modern amenities, extremely comfortable and spacious. Everyone is extremely friendly. The Van Horn dining experience is amazing. Highly recommended!

Our first time to Holderness and a stay at The Manor, what a memorable trip! The Inn is lovely and the views of the lake and foliage were amazing! Breakfast is included and was very delicious. The staff were so friendly and helpful. We definitely be back!
