White Birches Motel

The room was good. There were some things that needed repaired and housekeeping not provided unless requested. We took towels to office to get replaced and office did not open till 9 and closed at 7. Requested the room to be vacuumed but did not happen. Second request I just requested a broom and swept floor myself. Fireplace installed on wall did not work. Refrigerator installed funny and wobbled. Addtional coffee for room had to be retrived from office. Not a fan of 10am check out and fee for late checkout unreasonable in my opinion

We really liked this place. The amenities were great (coffee in room, iron and blow dryer, fridge, microwave). Our only complaint was that the room was VERY DARK. There was no overhead lighting, and two lamps with small wattage bulbs. It felt gloomy and I needed a flashlight to find things in my suitcase. Add lighting, the place is terrific!

Needed more towels, only stayed two nights as working in the area. It was comfortable and had a good sleep

Nice & clean. Very dark, not enough light. Friendly staff.

Only thing we didn't like about our stay was the firm mattress. We like ours softer.

Had 2 queen bed room. One queen bed had broken springs. The other bed was saggy but no broken springs. Front desk staff was awesome

Concrete stairs and steps are in need of repair

Affordable, kitchenette is nice but not necessary.

Can use a fresh coat of paint, mattress wasn't great, bathroom is very small, air conditioner didn't do real great, no breakfast.

The photos on the website or ok nothing like what the rooms look like in person. Our door would not shut fully which allowed bugs to come in and it was so humid and gross in the room. It smelled moldy and everything was damped due to the door not t able to shut fully. The coffee was awful and the room was not cleaned. Will stay somewhere else next time.

You have to go up several stairs so need to specify ground level if a problem getting up and down. Still no breakfast available just coffee and cookies.
