Pinckeyville Inn and Suites

Excellent

It was only one night, but served the purpose mostly. Overall, the room was clean. It could use some detailed cleaning in the bathroom and also a lot of dirt and trash behind the nightstand. There was no filter holder for the coffee pot. I was only a few steps away from the breakfast area...but there was NO breakfast except I found coffee. I went to the front desk and there was a handwritten sign saying if anything needed, go to the bar that was attached to the hotel. I encountered about half dozen staff, but only the guy working the front counter when I checked in and out seemed to acknowledge me. I believe the owner was there when I checked in and he seemed to be working hard on the place so I imagine it will get better. Again, it served the purpose for one night and I would probably stay there again.

Staff was friendly. Room not in best of shape. Shower had a shower head but no way to turn on. Broken tile in bathroom. Clean sheets and towels. Heat worked. Car alarm blaring off and on from 2 am to 3 am outside our window. Best part was the price and the Mexican Restaurant in town. Jalisco was the name.

There was blood stains on sheets. Someone stuck a nicotine patch to the night stand. No garbage can in room. The door had been pried open and they nailed a small piece of wood over the damage. Breakfast area was a nightmare. The only good thing is it’s a place to take a shower and sleep. I’ve stayed in a lot of places traveling to hunt and this one is by far the worst.

We stayed in the room with the King size bed & jetted bath tub. The room was huge & very clean.

The staff was super friendly, the hotel was clean for the most part and it was not messy at all. The only negative was finding a bedbug in the bed. That is disgusting.

This is a place that we will definitely stay at again and again. It has plenty of ammenities from an indoor pool, exercise room, game room and bar. They even serve you food upon request. We had so much fun in the bar area, we even had karioke! Fun place to stay and the staff was short handed but the guests don't go lacking. We highly recommend this place 100 times over. It is a surprising gem!

Upon arrival there was no one at the front desk to greet us. I had to call a phone number for someone to come and check us in. When the lady finally came to the desk she told us that she would need to go and see if our room was ready. We waited for an hour in the lobby (that smelled heavily of marijuana) and the lady had not come back to tell us if our room was ready or not. Just from the lobby the place looked filthy and poorly kept. We ended up leaving and had to get a room in another hotel. They then refused to provide me with a refund when I tried to cancel my reservation.
