Baymont by Wyndham Des Moines North

Literally, no one working. Called the number placed at front desk, and after 15 tries, the employee picked up and was in the pool with her children stating, her shift was over. We left and are currently working on a refund since we prepaid. Lobby was filling up with complaining guests regarding numerous issues.

Do not stay here if your female traveling by yourself and/or have children..........

Front desk people were rude and didn't give necessary information, and I had to keep going back. Refrigerator hadn't been cleaned and there was melted ice cream in the freezer. workout room was out of order. breakfast was canceled both days we were there.

The most disgusting hotel I have ever stepped foot in. Do not stay at this hotel. Garbages were overflowing, grass was knee high, floors were not vacuumed and had debris on them, entrances had live rat traps and junk laying around. And after canceling because of the filth, no one ever answers the number given to us for a refund. Baymont reservations has tried to contact them and they do not answer. Had to make a dispute with my credit card in order to get my money back.

The rooms were clean. The bed was comfy, and there was no signs of any bugs.

They said that they had a continental breakfast, but when we stayed, there was not would have made our stay more of an excellent level.If there was continental breakfast.

The jacuzzi bath tub was nice

There was blood all over the couch, sheets. Breakfast was closed with no explanation. We ended up sleeping in our car

This was the worst hotel experience I have ever had!! No one should ever stay here!! Problems from the get go. Room was not ready at check-in. No towels until the next day. TV didn't work. Wi-fi didn't work. Toilet didn't work. They fixed nothing. Breakfast was horrible. Told me that my stay would be free. But then they charged me the full amount and I have tried a hundred times, but they won't answer the phone. Corporate was no help.

I booked a “family suite”. There were 2 adults & 3 kids. We were given 4 pillows, 2 towels, and no blankets, just 2 top sheets on each bed. When we asked for more pillows, we were told “there is no more”. The beds were hard. The building had a strange musty smell. Upon check-in there was a sign on the counter that said “Out of office”. Definitely was not worth the money I paid.
