lovely and quiet place with very friendly and courteous proprieters. The room was a little small but furnished nicely. This was a very pleasant diversion from the corporate hustle and bustle of my time at the Convention Center which is just a mile away.

I do agree with what other people wrote that staying here is like staying at grandmas house. The staff was very friendly and accommodating, nice things in the area, I’d go back again.
Very cute place. Good food. Good location although the beach down the way is much better. Rooms are small, but the place is great.

The location is quite nice, a few minutes walk from the beach and a nice park. The staff is nice, respectful and helpful. The breakfast is simple but good. The building is old and the room feels quite old, with parts of it clean (e.g. bed) but other parts not clean (e.g. I don't think the blinds have been cleaned in a long time, they had a thick layer on dirt/dust on them, etc). The room is tiny, essentially the bed plus a meter around it for the most part. The area is sometimes quiet, other times can be loud (in my case due to neighbors). I think the inn would be reasonable at a lower price, but at the given price it seemed a bit overpriced for the quality. At a lower price, I'd say it's a comfortable enough stay.
I love the 'at home' feel. Always the best ending to a 14-17 hr day. Close to a park, juice bar, coffee shop, and of course near the beach.
Charming craftsman house in a good location. Pleasant common rooms, outdoor patio, easy walk to sights and eateries. Snacks available all day, but we missed breakfast because of an early departure. Comfortable room but windows need shades.
Nice two night stay in Long Beach. Cozy craftsman home, very clean, friendly and helpful hosts. 4 stars for comfort related to bed comfort and pillows. All else exceptional.
