Air conditioner, broken! Lights and exhaust fans, broken! Hotel should be removed from Hotels.com

This hotel is off of exit 115 on route 95. I want to start with that information because ALL OF THE OTHER HOTELS and restaurants are on exit 119. Having said this, I thought it was odd that the price of this property was less than half the price of the other hotels in the area. The reason is because it is all alone next to a gas station. We needed two rooms so the person at the front desk gave us rooms 115 and 224. I asked why we got those two rooms and she said 'because they are next to each other.' That in and of itself was HILARIOUS! I wish I could post a photo because it is like something out of the twilight zone. I asked her why it was numbered that way she said 'because the owner thought 113 was an unlucky number. OK, fair enough. After posting 25 pictures of the outside on facebook, which received about 60 likes and a thread of over 30 messages, we entered the room. I was pleasantly surprised at the size and cleanliness of the room. It was smoke free and they made a big deal about how they work hard to keep it that way. The bed was comfortable and the AC worked as expected. They didn't offer a breakfast but if you just need a place to stay for the night in South Carolina this hotel is not a 5 star hotel by any stretch of the imagination but it is a great value for the money. Often you see people give bad reviews because they expect 5 star service for a 2 star price. Being realistic, I would stay here again if budget was a concern.

First off, I could not find my room at all. After walking around the hotel for about 5 minutes trying to find my room, I finally came unto the corridor and there were guests clothes and shoes up and down the walkway in front of their rooms. There were homemade clothes lines hanging up everywhere. I felt like I was at a hotel in a horror movie. No lie. By no means at all did I feel safe. I went to get my refund and told the manager that I didnt feel safe and the hotel was nasty and a dump. He supposedly gave me a refund back. I went check in at another hotel. Hours later I noticed on my online banking that I was charged twice for the room that I didnt stay in and my refund wasn't even showing up. I called the manager about the charges and he said on his end it only took it out once. I wind up calling my bank and had corporate aware of this. By all means, PLEASE DO NOT STAY HERE!!!

Great price for a nice comfortable room

Quiet clean

My girlfriend and I stayed here overnight on our way to Florida. It was right off the highway and easy to find. Also very cheap. We got there late at night, checked in and headed to our room. The room was small and outdated, and even through we could find nothing wrong with our room, it still felt very dirty and dingy. The sheets were clean but the pillows didn't seem very clean at all. We both spend the night sleeping in out clothes because we didn't really want to touch the sheets. The woman manning the front desk seemed friendly enough, but damaged my credit card during check in. She didn't say anything about it.

We had no hot water and there was big bugs in the room worst motel i have ever stayed in and i travel alot

I will never book a room at this place again. Everything about this hotel is unacceptable!

Half the lights did not work, no tissues, tV remote did not work thought the TV did.

I only stayed one night because I arrived late and was tired. I rate the hotel a zero.
