Hotel Los Juaninos

The location of the property is incredible. Unfortunately, the staff other than Alexandra from the restaurant "La Azotea" and our housekeeping staff member Rosita, were horrible! The front desk never offered a VIP amenity even after messaging the hotel directly. I also had to call room service on an order of coffee and toast after placing an order 45 minutes prior, only to be told they didn't know what time it would be delivered. Needless to say, I canceled the order and walked to a restaurant by the hotel to purchase it and bring it back to our room. I have stayed in many hotels in Morelia.. La Casa Grande, Hotel Casino, Hotel La Soledad and Villa Montaña. This was by far the worst Service of all. For about the same price range (property wise) I would stay at Hotel del La Soledad which has better service.The exerience was so bad I preferred losing a prepaid night and purchasing new tickets to return home because all the hotels were sold out during the Christmas break. ..

Everything was good

Clean, spacious, close to everything, safe, very colonial vibe which I already knew based on pictures.

Reception service were as good other hotel but hotel old and dark. Don’t get me wrong, I expected old with history but darkness of hotel hallway to your room felt disappointed. Also make sure to have multi usb charge unit, cause only 1 outlet (that I was able to find) in bedroom area. Also safe box in room were broken/damaged and could not use. However room size and quality of bed were good that we were able to sleep well.

I just recently had my wedding venir at this hotel and was very pleased, everyone was very friendly and helpful, One person who stood out the most was Pablo he went above and beyond to make sure our needs were met. Highly recommend.

Our experience was great since we check in to when we checked out. I asked for a great view and they delivered. Beds are big and rooms are a good size. The staff is wonderful and know the area well just in case you need anything. We needed a suite and dress steamed and they sent it to the cleaners for us(great price) I’ve read in other reviews that the bells wake you up, but it’s not that bad when you close the wood doors to the window. The rooms have ac and are very neat. The manager knows English and can help you well. Make sure to order a Paloma drink from the upstairs restaurant. Overall we loved our stay and the staff made us feel special.
