Best Western Plus The Ivywall Resort-Panglao

The room is clean and the entire staff are friendly particularly the front office and Alon Restaurant special mention to Sir Noe and Sir Joel. We had a great stay. Everything was perfect. We will surely recommend and will stay here next holidays.

Super clean, beautiful view and great service.

Great resort for a family. We had two rooms connecting for our three college age children. Loved the staff , Ewe at the bar was great! The waiters Michelle Carmen, Janelle, and many others were so friendly and helpful! We did the private tour to chocolate Hills. Our driver was Rex from Henrys tour group!. He is awesome.

From check-in, thoughout my stay and until check-out, the service level was top notch. Located right on the beach with many small bars and dining options made for the most pleasant of stays. I had a 6th floor, ocean view room that provided stunning views. The room was comfortable, above what I expected. They have a Tourist Specialist (Pam) who scheduled a tour and rented a motorbike for me. So simple. The on-site restaurant was very good. I woke up early each morning to enjoy the breakfast. Kathleen was very friendly and made seeing her every morning a joy. I only learned that she was a "Trainee" towards the end of my stay. Her people skills were exceptional and I would of thought she was a Manager based upon her knowledge and communication skillls. Looking forward to returning next year for some diving. One of the best in Panglao. Right on the alona beach strips with easy access to numbers of cafes, spas, boutique malls, food joints Also from the back yard of the hotel you may find a couple of tourist guys offering day trips. 2 nos 7/11 are hardly 2-3 mins walk. The hotel and staff are a delight. The approach road during rainy days gets clogged because of the level of the ground in front of reception lobby They do have one plus one on drinks menu till 7 Pm. Food prices are reasonable as well. Spa prices could be a little reasonable to attract in house guests more. Kids facilities are there. Ball rooms seem big for celebration. The food menu should be revamped to engage with a wide range of foodies. However the gesture of asking while check-in about breakfast food preference is appreciated. Overall it is a good stay and can certainly be repeated if in Panglao

Our experience was a bit of a mixed bag, but ultimately the hotel gave me and my extended family an excellent holiday stay. The positives? Nice, well appointed rooms, handily located close to the pool and other amenities. A very good included breakfast, apart from the odd glitch (see below); nice food generally; and great cocktails - at great prices during Happy Hour. A nearly central location on Alona Beach (though marred during our stay by works on the beach - see below). The overall cost of the rooms was very reasonable. And finally, the service provided by the staff was friendly and caring (despite a glitch - again reported below). The negatives? Some of the hotel's facilities are showing their age, notably the swimming pool with tiles missing or coming off. It could do with renovation; but the pool was generally excellent, including for small kids like our grandchildren. The beach experience was marred a bit by municipal works right in front of our hotel (and various other adjoining hotels and properties, to be fair). Once these are complete, the hotel's location will be very good again. Some service glitches, like running out of basic English breakfast tea for a day or two; and misplacing a small parcel delivery I was anxiously expecting. But in fairness, the staff came through and sorted the tea issue, as well as compensating me and my family for the parcel issue - full marks overall for customer service. Overall, we would definitely recommend this hotel to families with children, as well as others looking for a beach location with a range of other outside facilities also quite close at hand.

The view was so nice, the foods were tasty, the room was big and clean, and the bathroom was huge, I also had a good sleep because the pillow was so soft, and also the blanket was very fluffy, and they gave us a stuff toy that is shaped like a starfish.

This has been our most incredible and enjoyable, welcoming stay at a hotel EVER. The staff all welcome you warmly constantly, they remember names, interact with kids and give parents peace during eating times. The housekeeping you can’t fault & we just felt so safe and welcomed here. The rooms are great too! Live music each night and the kids sung along all night. I don’t think we’ll ever top this stay! The kids will always remember :)

Cannot fault any aspect of our stay. The staff are simply wonderful. Nothing is a problem and the service is exeptional. Rooms are very comfortable and the amenities well maintained. Will definitely return for another stay in the near future.
