"Charming !!!"

This Hotel and town is the most charming place we have visited in many years. Everyone was so friendly. Spectacular views in all directions! Fabulous dinner! We can't wait to return! And we will !!!!

"lovely and little privacy"

The room was nice: spacious, lovely antique furnishings, but was right next to the desk and above the restaurant. We asked to move as soon as we arrived, but were told they were fully booked. We heard every conversation that took place at the desk, as well as every chair across the wood floor below us, and of course felt little privacy on our side. The grounds are nice and the staff is kind, but I would recommend you know exactly which room you wish to stay in and request it well in advance.

"Great Stay at MacCallum House"

My husband and I stayed here for our 5th anniversary. My brother and his family visit yearly so that is where I got the tip. Aside from being prime Mendocino location, it was the small, homey stuff I really liked - a super friendly wait staff at the complimentary breakfast, the ability to check out DVDs and nice robes, wine glasses in the room. Mendocino is expensive in general, but I would splurge on MacCallum House again. Don't miss the Mendocino Botanical Gardens - hence, my nickname.

"Mendocino: Magical place, spectacular views"

The staff was great, the complimentary breakfast at the Inn was delicious - among other thinks: chicken apple sausage, home made wholewheat hazelnut bread and yummy coffee. The rooms were beautiful, especially in the Suites where we were, about 4 blocks from the main house. Comfy robes are provided for use during your stay but you have the option of buying. Huge shower/bath, fireplace, private terrace. In sum: awesome.
