Quality Inn & Suites Ann Arbor Hwy 23

Would not reccomend staying here. Room was gross, flooring was sticky, and there had obviously been water leaks that were kind of repaired. Vents look as if they had never been cleaned, the AC was similar. Rotten fruit out for breakfast-

This property had active illegal activities going on in and around it!! It is unsafe for families. We had to leave and find another place to stay! It should not be a “Quality Inn” property and should not be listed on Expedia!!

Property is outdated and in need of some tlc but it is located in a con ivenient ivenient location

We were given a room in the second floor-it reeked of marijuana although we had to sign a no smoking agreement. The phone was out of service and the tv didn’t work. When the maintenance man came, he said none of the phones worked and he was surprised the air conditioning was working. The room was not clean and there was garbage piled up outside the exit. Other guests had rooms without towels

Building very outdated, pool ice cold, shower water so hot you couldn't let it touch your skin and no way to adjust it. Very limited breakfast. Mixture of smoke and mildew smell throughout building.

Check-in was easy. That's it. Do NOT stay at this hotel.

I stayed in room 225. The tub surround has a massive crack in it, a hygiene issue in itself, but it was clear the crack had been there a LONG time as there was significant water damage beneath the tub, causing it to sag badly. I reported this to the manager in the morning as a severe safety issue & told them they shouldn't rent this room until the entire tub & subfloor has been replaced. There's no way management didn't know about this beforehand, damage is obvious & has clearly been there a long time, yet they rented this room out anyway! Absolute health violation. In addition, there were hairs in the "clean" bed & fridge wan't clean (bits of spilled food in it, smelled bad). A/C barely worked even at top speed & cool setting. It was late & I was exhausted when I discovered the dirty mattress & I'd already unpacked for the night, so slept clothed atop all covers rather than checking out at once. The property overall is dirty & badly run down. I expected lack of some amenities & older property for the 2 star rating; however, the lack of any concern about safety by the owners/managers makes this a no-go for ALL guests.
