Casa Del Mar Inn

The location just steps from the beach/wharf was amazing! The grounds were lovely and retro, like living in LA in the 50s! I loved the stucco and tiled buildings and the luscious greenery that lead to our room and the sweet courtyard in the center! The bedding was very comfortable!

Our Queen room was very small. There was no a/c, as was expected, but only one of our windows opened up (to the street/parking area) so it was difficult to get a breeze into the stuffy room on the warm afternoon when we arrived. The second window USED to open, but it was broken. We had to leave our door propped open to let in a breeze/create some airflow…which made us open to whomever was walking through the property! After a long drive, this was not ideal, but by nightfall, the room was cozy and comfortable.

Great staff! Loved the wine and cheese in the afternoon.

Clean room & bathroom, comfortable bed, quiet surrounding and friendly staff. Oh, and free breakfast. What more can I ask for! ☺️
