Casa Del Mar Inn

This is a charming, no-nonsense, hotel less than a block from the beach. It is a great value. What I liked was the super-friendly staff, the nightly wine and cheese which gave guests a chance to mingle, and the location. Nothing fancy but I wasn't paying for fancy.

The room was a bit stark and the bed could have been more comfortable. The "breakfast" was basically muffins, juice, and coffee. My room faced the street, which led to some unwanted noise; but nothing terrible. All things considered, I would definitely stay here again.

We were 4 blocks from State Street. Very cute room with a very comfy bed and a small living room and desk. Loved the staff.

The water pressure in the shower was bad and the hot water ran out on us.

Location is great, rooms are big and clean.

The covered parking is really tight, and breakfast can be better with some hot items or egg at least.

Truly, I loved everything. The people at the reception desk were lovely, the rooms were clean, it was a short walk to the beach and State Street. Happy Hour was a 'happy' surprise.

Property is great, comfortable and quiet. Great for a getaway.

Had a smoke alarm go off at 5 in the morning abruptly waking us up. There was no smoke or fire turning itself off within about a minute of going off.
