Hilton Virginia Beach Oceanfront

We had a room on the 15th floor that overlooked the ocean. It was beautiful and we enjoyed our stay.

I’ve stayed at this hotel 5-6 times previously and often have clients stay here as I’ve considered it to be the 3rd nicest hotel in Virginia Beach and often the most reasonably priced for the quality. However, this week my stay was less than acceptable. I had booked Sunday through Thursday and was given a partial ocean view room. And once I stepped off the elevator, all of the walls were torn apart and there was mold remediation going on. There was no advance notice, no apology, nothing. The room was acceptable as usual. However, I came back on night 2 and the room numbers were torn off the wall as well and the mold was very noticeable. Again, no offer to move, no apology, etc. I have no idea how this was considered acceptable by the staff or hotel and as a gold member, I expected better. After I was in my room and unpacked, I had no desire to move, but I just don’t understand how this was possible. Suffice it to say, we will not be recommending this hotel ever again.

I was greeted by Candace at the front desk, she was lovely! The hotel was nice, had a blast at the roof top pool! The only bad thing was the hotel restaurant, terrible service, long wait, and subpar food.
