"Habitacion no era para tres personas"

8.0

La habitacion no era para tres personas, ya que las 2 camas no eran de 2 plazas. Finalmente nos unieron las 2 camas y tuvimos que dormir los 3 juntos

"Good"

6.0

Expedia told me that I had an ocean view room with 2 queen beds...Upon arrival the hotel knew nothing of our reservation and they tried to give us 2 single beds for 3 people. Not accepting this, they gave me a room with 1 queen and 1 single which I accepted only to find out that the door would not lock. We were then moved to a suit, at no extra charge, with a 1 king and 2 single beds. Only one of the rooms had AC but was tolerable. The food at the hotel was very good and the service was excellent. There was a communication breakdown somewhere upon arrival but all and all a good trip.

"Great for an enjoyable getaway"

10.0

Great location between Brava and Cavancha beaches, close to supermarkets and banks. Our room was a big and comfortable apartment overlooking the beach. Buffet breakfast was outstanding, with lots of options to choose from.

"A weekend in Iquique"

6.0

We spent 2 nights on this hotel. Well located, nice rooms with excellent view of the beach, very quiet (we did not hear any disturbing noise during the night), good breakfast . Negative : Poor parking area , bad shower door system (shower spilled and went outside then wet floor)

"Ok Hotel, more like an apart hotel with 80's style decoration"

6.0

This hotel, was more like an apart hotel. Everything was very clean though. The double bed was actually 2 beds put together. I travelled solo but I but for the same money of a normal room 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, kitchen and living and dining room + a nice terrace with a nice view of the beach. Awesome ! The main drawback is that the apartment faces the costanera and since the windows a regular windows you get a lot of noise from the outside.

"Beautiful Vistas, Excellent Breakfast"

10.0

We will definitely stay here again. The view from the back of the hotel, level 23, of the city was surprisingly enchanting and did include a large span of ocean. The room was clean, quite and comfortable. The best part was the awesome breakfast, included in the price, which had such a wide variety of options it will certainly suit all tastes and dietary inclinations. I eat a low carb diet and was very happy with the coffee, eggs and sausage. The one thing I was missing was a coffee machine in the room. There is a fridge in the room and a Jumbo right around the corner. Great hotel!! I can't wait to stay here again!

"Fantastic view, great breakfast buffet, not so nice hotel"

8.0

Terrado Club in Iquique is a large building (over 20 floors) with a great view over Playa Brava and the seaside (other rooms has a view to Iquique city and Cerro Dragon, which is not such a great landscape). It's close to seaside, about 200 mts, so close that you can hear the sound from sea waves. It has reception desk, restaurant, swimming pool (we didn't use it, I think it's just OK, not a large pool) and dining room (used for breakfast buffet) all in the 1st floor. It has 3 elevators, usually crowded in rush hours for all the rooms that are located in twenty some floors (long waiting at breakfast time!). Room was OK, includes two bedrooms and a kitchenette (well equipped). They fell in details: there was not enough towels for the group (we scheduled in advance, so they knew how many we were), there was not remote control for the LCD TV. Of course, you could ask at reception and they come quickly, but the next day they miscount the towels again and the remote was useless (wrong model for the TV, I guess). Restaurant is good for lunch or dinner, but not cheap. There are a few restaurants close, though. There is a strip center a couple blocks away which includes a large supermarket (Jumbo), ATM's, bank, pharmacy among others. Breakfast buffet (included) was very good, with a large selection of foods. It's a good choice for large groups and families, but has to improve in some details.

"I survived Iquique."

6.0

The elevators had a mind of their own, stopping at unwanted floors and door problems. There was a sewerage smell that worked its way back up the pipes and made the room smell bad. The neighborhood was full of barking dogs and screeching cars and car alarms going off regularly. It was impossible to sleep without earplugs. The staff were pretty good and the ocean views from the 22nd floor were great. A pity about all the noise and bad smells.

"Good hotel in great position .....especially if you are a paraglider pilot"

8.0

We stayed for 2 weeks while on a paragliding trip in Iquique. The good stuff: Our room on the 23 level was large, overlooking Brava Beach (our landing zone:-) and had spectacular views of the sunset over the ocean. Comfortable king size bed, fridge, microwave and kettle. Room service food was great, large portions and very tasty. Very close to Jumbo supermarket The bad stuff: Cleaning staff ignoring "do not disturb" signs almost every day. They knock ....and if you do not answer hoping that they go away they ring on the phone to ask you if you want the room cleaned. Very noisy in the morning. The hotel is next to an intersection so every morning we had tens of drivers leaning on their horns while waiting to go through the intersection. Seems to be a local habit . Breakfast never changes. It was exactly the same for the whole 2 weeks and it becomes a bit boring after a few days. No problem if you are here for a shorter period. Overall we enjoyed our stay and we can recommend this hotel. We feel that is above average for South America.
