"Family get-together"

It was a yearly get-together with 3 brothers and wives. We were the only guests the entire time we were there and really enjoyed ourselves!

The house and grounds had not been kept up to the last time we were there 6 years ago.There were lots of cracks in ceiling and walls, as well as dirty baseboards and corners. There were dead insects inside and out. Things outside were run down and dirty.

Great deck along the river to relax, watch the birds and other wildlife and enjoy the peace and quiet. Great location relative to Gruene for excellent food and music. Will return in the future.

It was beautiful, relaxing, comfortable and convenient. We enjoyed the quiet (adult only) environment. We also enjoyed the hot tub! The snacks provided went above and beyond our expectations!

Good location. Very nice property.

Bed was very soft, almost hammock like. Very uncomfortable. There was renovation work on unit below mine that started before 9AM on Saturday morning.
