Very charming place...will definitely stay again.

Great stay! Nice location near the river and a venue we were seeing a concert at. If you're going to pay over $100 on a room you may as well book here. Decent price, beautiful antique facility, friendly staff and very good breakfast. An outdoor courtyard and upstairs porch are definitely a plus! Bring your camera, but don't count on any supernatural experiences, this stay was quiet and cozy even for July 4th weekend. Will book again.

Older hotel which is showing its age but this also gives the hotel its character

The owner AL is a very nice guy and the location is great.

We were in town for a wedding. This is a great location, close to town and a park for walking/running. It is very close to the river and you can walk down to walk along the river. It is a historic hotel with a bar in the basement, very charming.

Felt like facility need some attention to the patio and common area , lots of leaves and not well maintained

This lovely inn is an oasis of beauty and quiet in this bustling and fascinating town. Furnished in a quirky, 1890's opulence , there were delightful surprises everywhere...the claw foot bathtub, the outstanding bed, the river breeze on the upstairs veranda, the delightful dining room and delicious breakfasts, but, most of all, it reflects the owner, Al, who is as gracious and charming as the wonderful place he has invited us to experience.

Lovely courtyard, Chisholm room was very comfortable. Al is a great Innkeeper, is available to call for anything at any time. Bar in Basement is beyond belief-it is a true treasure. Bar Wait challenge can be a challenge at times. Close to everything, Gruene, Landa Park, Schlitterbahn. Can walk from B & B to downtown shopping, bars and restaurants. Poor Haus is a cool place to sit doen for drinks-site back off on San Antonio St.

This was our first time staying here and we absolutely LOVED it. The owners are so friendly and accommodating. They walked us to our room and told us about the events that were going on that weekend and made us feel right at home. The patio area was the perfect place to relax and have a few drinks. It's walking distance to everything that you need (restaurants, shops and bars). They have a downstairs piano bar area that is really neat. We showed up after walking around town and unfortunately they were closing for the night but they still were very friendly and let us hang out for awhile. We will definitely be back soon!!

Great location and very nice folks. The breakfast is awesome. Place needs redecorating!!
