Prince Solms Inn

Because it's a B&B in a historical building, don't exect a brand new hotel experience. We walked to Wurstfest in about ten minutes. We had an annex suite with a private patio. Friendly staff, great breakfast in historic room. It is located on the famous square with lots of shopping and dining options. We enjoyed meeting other guests and relaxing in part of New Braunfels' heritage.

Small bathroom and shower, but overall a very nice stay

It was great I didn't care for all of the breakfast but other than that it was fantastic!

Al, Larry and the folks were awesome! However, I wasn't the happiest with how clean the room and bathroom was. The tub/shower had a dried used wash cloth in it which made me believe that it wasn't cleaned from the last guest. The bathroom sink was very dirty. At first I thought it may appear as, but because the property is > 100 years old. however, when I can take my fingernail and scrape the dirt off, then I know that's not the case. The bed was very hard therefor herd to sleep on. Knowing this is a personal preference I can't fault them as much for that. However, I could tell it was a lower end product due to the lack of mattress foam on the top. While trying to compensate with a "mattress topper" might be the cheaper way of actually investing in a higher end mattress may turn away the reoccurring customer, such as myself. Can't afford to wake up in more pain than when I went to bed. Other than that I may consider revisiting this B&B in the future. This was our first time however we stay within a 10-15 mile radius of this location at least 12-15 times a year.

Nice old hotel within walking distance from downtown and the river. Great, helpful staff.

I will return to this great B&B. The staff is very nice and helpful and our room was comfortable, nice and clean . I was disappointed that I was switched rooms at last minute because I was looking forward to the Penelope room but everything turned out fine.

Bed and breakfast, kids loved the loft, courtyard beautiful, very conveniently located. Friendly helpful staff, clean and comfy. Go!

Bed and breakfast is becoming run down and the food was mediocre at best. The location is great for walking to local restaurants and bars though.

Excellent staff. Very friendly. Great location. Nice rooms.
