"A perfect romantic getaway in Puerto Plata"

We stayed at Casa Colonial for a quick couple's getaway, celebrating our anniversary. From the moment we walked in, we were greeted warmly by the front of house team. Our suite was spacious and had a lovely ocean view. I emailed ahead to inform the team of our special occasion and we were welcomed with a special amenity in the room, which was a nice surprise! The resort is beautiful, luxurious, and provides a tranquil and relaxing atmosphere. Dinner at Lucia was fantastic and the Dominican breakfast at the Veranda was phenomenal. Our spa experience was divine! Above all, we were mostly impressed by the level of service that the team has delivered. Every interaction was personal and genuine all across the board. Casa Colonial will now be our second home every time we are in Puerto Plata and we will definitely recommend to our friends and family as well. We can't wait for our next visit!

"Great Stay with Amazing Service and Food"

This was my third time staying at Casa Colonial over the last 2 years. I normally do not write reviews but had to after this trip. Unbelievable service, food and drinks. I do not want to name any specific staff since they are all amazing and I do not want to leave anyone off the list. If you like a quiet resort, amazing beach with plenty of places to relax under shade or not - a rooftop pool and a lot of happiness - put this on your list The picture of the meal we had was to say the least one of the best meals i have ever had. I am in my 50s from NYC. The lobster was cooked perfectly as were the carrots and broccoli in a very light sauce. The steak added a turf compliment which also was outstanding. They have a nice wine list if you are into a bottle with dinner. if you are not staying at the hotel - you can still visit the restaurant for a 5-star meal. This place will not disappoint.
