Prospect Hill Inn & Restaurant

Beautiful historic building, friendly owners and staff, great food.

Boys Cabin is a wonderful back in time experience with modern amenities. The best part of the trip, though, was the unforgettable dinner we had. If you go to Prospect Hill, don't leave without testing the spectacular menu.

It is a lovely place with lovely surroundings. It's about 1/2 hour from Charlottesville. The breakfast was very good. It is somewhat pricy.

We had a brilliant time here. We spent one night in the Miss Vashty's room which was beautifully decorated and very comfortable. The whole Inn was beautiful and very festive. For dinner, we ate in their restaurant and had a delicious 4 course meal which was followed by a fantastic breakfast the following morning brought to us in our room. Upon arrival we were given a tour of the property and in the morning we spent a bit of time walking around the grounds, there were horses and alpacas! There was coffee, tea and snacks available for guests. Overall, we had a fantastic evening here and would definitely recommend.

What a wonderful place! The owner was very gracious, shared some history of the plantation and took exceptional care of us. The grounds are beautiful. We wandered around the property taking in the views and settled in the gazebo for a bottle of wine while watching the sun set. Although historical, we were encouraged to touch items and books. We did not have dinner there but understand we missed quite a treat. Breakfast was served in the dining room or we opted to have it in our room. It was presented just perfectly! Hot things were hot, cold things were cold and no detail was overlooked. I felt like a princess there.

This place is amazing. Spent the weekend here with my family. Definitely want to come back! Service is top notch and the views are breathtaking.

Can not say enough about the wonderful experience we had. The food was as good as if not better than any five star big city (Philadelphia or ny) restaurant we've been to. The family that owns and runs this bed and breakfast are truly delightful. We will definitely go back.

The room was dirty, cold, hard and small bed. No bottled water in the room. Construction all day.

This B&B is on a beautiful property in the rolling hills near Charlottesville. Outbuildings made into terrific cottages gives privacy. Incredible restaurant, every course was as good as we have ever eaten. Couldn't recommend Prospect Hill higher, will definite come back.
