Sunset Hill House

The bed was comfortable, the spa tub was fantastic. Check in was easy. The doors to the rooms open via a key code, so as long as you remember your code, you can’t get locked out!

Traveler, be forewarned that the hotel is over 100 years old. There is no elevator. There is also no paved parking lot. I lugged my belongings up 2 flights of stairs after bringing them up a gravel driveway. There was no one at the desk when I walked in or the morning I left. 2 women who I assumed were staff based on how they went into the back kitchen for supplies during breakfast watched me walk out the front door with my luggage. No one greeted me and no one wished me goodbye. There was also a loud wedding party who drunkenly sang until after 10 pm.

Stayed in small house adjacent to main inn. Comfortable bed, spacious room with 2 comfy chairs, plus a private balcony. Suitcases had to go on floor, no bench or rack. No available water except faucet. Common fridge at entrance. Shower was small old tub with plastic surround hung on circular shower rod. Curved tub made standing a bit shaky but tub had no slip on bottom. Restaurant was closed so had to go to Franconia or Littleton for dinner. Breakfast was small pastries and coffee only. Our conclusion was inn had great potential, but missed the mark. Amenities needed to be upgraded from 2nd class to 1st, and details matter.

We liked the privacy and paths to walk and run. Thank you for the upgrade of room. It made it comfortable to share with daughter and grandkids.

Sleep sofa was uncomfortable. Few springs broken. Property and location was great though

This place is wonderful! So beautifully maintained and the rooms are perfect. I can’t wait to stay here again soon!

AMAZING VIEWS AND UNIQUE PROPERTY

Beautiful property, clean and comfortable rooms with great views, short drive to either Littleton or Bethlehem. Would definitely choose this again!

I definitely recommend this hotel. The owner was so kind to upgrade me to a room that had a larger bathroom and the scenery. There is absolutely beautiful. John

It wss a wonderfulvenue

Location was great, very good service from bar tender/server. The restaurant Boo's burger had very good burger. Room was cute and very clean.

The bed, in fact the mattresse was 1/10. Poor quality, un even and we fell the springs all night. We had har time to sleep. Other then that our rating would have been 10/10

I love this place. Will 100% stay there again!
