Motel 6 Putnam CT

The overhead lights flickered when turned on, the building,/grounds were dilapidated. The rooms were sparse and dingy..People were in the lot in cars with there music blaring. The place is a teardown!

Ok...absolutely no frills...no shampoo, conditioner. Room WAS clean, but tiny. ONLY 2 tiny bars of soap. No bar. No restaurant. No coffee/tea in any area. Nothing that was advertised. BUT...we were there to only sleep for one night after a show at the Indian Ranch. Of note, there is a restaurant called Blackstone that was EXCELLENT and close by. Downtown Putnam was very nice and close.

Change the rugs in the hallway. Need table light by bed.

Nobody at front desk for check-in or check-out. Room had no hangers or cups. One of the dresser drawers was missing. Bathroom is a closet. Dog barking in hall about midnight. Not even morning coffee in the lobby. Next time, I will stay farther from Putnam and drive a bit longer to get to where I transact business.

I loved this place, definitely a different experience from others who have posted. Had a room on the 2nd floor of the building in the back, overlooking the pond. I wish it wasn't raining so I could have walked around. The room was spotless. Clean sheets, microwave, and fridge. Shower was small but no issues. Front desk person was very pleasant. Would stay here again.

Floors havnt been mopped in who knows how long. Mold from leaking shower out under floor. Ants, unwashed pillow cases, bed is basically a cot and wake up sore, smells as you walk in common area and halls.
