I loved this place, definitely a different experience from others who have posted. Had a room on the 2nd floor of the building in the back, overlooking the pond. I wish it wasn't raining so I could have walked around. The room was spotless. Clean sheets, microwave, and fridge. Shower was small but no issues. Front desk person was very pleasant. Would stay here again.

Floors havnt been mopped in who knows how long. Mold from leaking shower out under floor. Ants, unwashed pillow cases, bed is basically a cot and wake up sore, smells as you walk in common area and halls.

Worst stay I've ever had beds were terrible the rooms and hallways smelled so bad drive further so not worth it. The blankets and sheets smelled off just a very bad place

I arrived to an extremely run down facility. Only one front door worked. I was the told that the type of room i reserved was not available. When i got to the room I was in shock. There was no carpet at all, and no curtain, only a roller shade. There was absolutely nothing that was welcoming about the room( no art on the walls, no lamps other than the ceiling lights. No alarm clock) i tried to turn on the TV to find that it would not turn on, as the batteries were held into the remote with Duct Tape. I tried to plug in my phone to find that there seemed to be only 2 outlets in the room, and one had no faceplate on it, and only one plug in it worked. I have to say that the woman at the front desk went out of her way to help and make me feel welcome, but the condition of this property was AWFUL. To top it off, i was promised a continental breakfast, and was told upon arrival that there wasnt even coffee. UNBELIEVABLE to charge 138 for this. I have photos and a video.and will be calling the CT department of health if i do not hear back.

I *like* Motel 6. I stay here every time I am in its area. It isn't "grand", it isn't "fancy"... and it isn't expensive. But the sheets are clean, the room is spacious, WITH an desk, and good air-conditioning and heat. The staff are friendly and helpful. Good TV.

The restaurant, snack bar and coffe/tea in lobby were not available. The hallways and room had a strong smell of cigarette smoke. Only about half of the lights in the room worked. The windows open but do not have screens so you can not leave them open. The face clothes in the bathroom were stained. The shower curtain does not keep the water from getting out of the shower so the bathroom floor requires multiple towels. When I contacted the property to address the issues and try to come to a resolve the manager/owner was extremely rude and unprofessional. He got very confrontational and defensive which leads me to believe that he is well aware of the issues but would rather turn a blind eye.

It was good, could use some updates but not bad.

The entire room was filled with the smell of smoke in the air.
