Motel 6 Putnam CT

This was a very poor place to stay. The carpets in the hallways were awful and dirty. Although it was a smoke-facility, we smelled cigarette smoke all the time. I would NOT stay there again.

Bed wasn't even clean it had dead skin and dog hair all over it. Hallway to room even was gross. Gross stuff all over the walls. We straight up left.

We celebrated our anniversary at this amazing place, and they really went the extra mile to make it unforgettable! As soon as we walked into the room, we were pleasantly surprised to find a bottle of champagne waiting for us, along with a personalized note. It was such a thoughtful and unexpected gesture, and it really set the tone for our stay. We were so touched by their attention to detail and how they made us feel so special. Every part of our experience, from the warm welcome to the little surprises, made our anniversary celebration perfect. Highly recommend this place if you're looking to make your special moments even more memorable.

Absolutely I totally get it! Sometimes the little things, like amazing shower pressure, can make such a huge difference in your day. There's something about stepping into a shower with that perfect pressure—just the right amount of water force—that makes you feel like you're in a luxury spa. It's like the water hits just the right spots and gives you this relaxing, energizing feeling all at once. It’s not too hard or too soft, just a smooth, consistent flow that makes every moment feel like a mini escape.

I mean it’s not the Ritz or anything, but for what you pay? It’s an ABSOLUTE STEAL Spotless rooms a hearty breakfast that hits the spot and the warmest, friendliest staff you’ll ever come across. Seriously what more could you even ask for? It’s a hidden gem that deserves all the love.

As someone who travels frequently for work, finding a place that makes you feel at home away from home is a rarity. But I’ve discovered that place, and it’s now my go-to whenever I’m in town. The staff here are exceptional—always remembering your name, making you feel like you’re not just another guest, but someone they genuinely care about. It’s those small touches that truly stand out.

The building might be a bit older, but they've really done a fantastic job keeping everything updated and spotless. The character and unique features of the place only enhance the overall experience, making it feel like you're stepping into something special, with the best of both worlds – timeless appeal and contemporary comfort.

Where do I start. it’s worst than the Bates Motel. The housekeeping staff Karlin was the rudest woman on the planet. You could hear her talking about the owner like he was trash. There is NO HOT water. There is roaches. I looked out my window to corroded pipes. Despite what they advertised there is no coffee in the lobby. It’s smells like smoke and mildew. I think people live there. There was wet dog smell throughout the hotel. It’s just dirty and nasty and not worth the money they want for rooms. Do yourself a favor and stay elsewhere it’s not a safe place for kids and the environment is dangerous.

No hot water for duration of stay. Was told I get something refunded. Haven’t received a cent.
