Huge comfortable rooms, spotlessly clean. Massive comfortable bed, there were 2 in the room. Loved the decor throughout the hotel, sort of the old fashioned travel vibe. Our room had a fabulous view across the docks which was lovely as well.

I love this hotel. I’ve stayed here 2 times now and will definitely come back. The only thing or really I have 2 complaints, one is the shower pressure. It sucks! And the second thing is, for the price of the hotel, there should be breakfast accommodations but there isn’t. Maybe you should consider it?

For the money, this should have been so much better. Started bad when I walked in and was in the lobby alone with zero ackowledgment from the person there. Finally went to the counter of zero personality where annoyance seemed to be plentiful. The room was fine but all the decor was old and outdated. The bed gets a 1/10. Everything about the bed was worn to unusability. The view out of the window was of 2 industrial areas, a couple of parking lots, and some water in the distance. Then you wake up are creeky and sore from the terrible mattress and go downstairs to get charged $10 for 2 cups of coffee. I paid too much for these accommodations to have to pay for mediocre coffee from a place trying to be something that it just isn’t. Be better off next time in a chain hotel. At least when they overcharge you, free coffee and breakfast is included.

Property is nice and quiet with.. To restaurants facing Lake Michigan

We reserved 5 rooms for a family wedding. I contacted the front desk a few times to add to or modify our reservation. We ended up reserving 5 rooms. Every contact with the hotel was pleasant and efficient. Check in was easy. The rooms were nice. The hotel bar/restaurant was great. Our wedding/reception was at a nearby venue. Shoreline can also do weddings. Based on our interactions with staff, I would think they would be an excellent venue. The hotel has a lot of character. Would definitely recommend this hotel.
