Inn at St John Portland In-Town

This is our home away from home when we are in Portland. It is off the beaten track, but it is lovely. Cute rooms, good breakfast, easy parking.

We've stayed at the Inn at St. John numerous times and have always enjoyed our stays. The rooms are quirky but clean and well appointed. The desk staff is always friendly and helpful. The hotel offers a great value in the Portland area.

A little more grit and salt in the parking lot would have made the footing a little more sure, but the weather was working against them on our most recent visit: extreme cold followed by a wintry mix and drizzle is always a challenge.

Great hospitality and a homey feeling. Would definitely come back.

It’s a quaint, clean establishment. Room was comfortable and shower had great pressure. Staff was exceptionally friendly and helpful. The Inn at St. John was in a great location, easy access to major highways. Free parking. Great continental breakfast and coffee options. Cleaning staff was super. And it is a great value! I love this place!

No elevator but that was the only inconvenience as their desk staff helped us get our luggage up to the room.

Good location and unique property

Thin walls, tough to sleep with noises from hallway and outdoors.
