Martinique on Macrossan is a truly beautiful adults-only hotel, located just a short 2-minute stroll—around 150 metres—from the beach. I would gladly recommend this hotel to any traveller looking for a peaceful and charming place to stay. A special thank-you goes to Ken at reception, who was exceptionally helpful and professional throughout our stay. It’s clear he genuinely enjoys his work. He organised a wonderful sailing excursion for us for our honeymoon and also shared excellent dining recommendations, including great restaurant options in nearby Palm Cove. To make our honeymoon even more memorable, he welcomed us with a complimentary bottle of champagne—a thoughtful gesture we deeply appreciated. Thank you for helping make our stay unforgettable.

Die beiden Hosts sind absolut freundlich und hilfsbereit. Wir fühlten ums sehr willkommen. Die Lage ist perfekt, alles ist zu Fuss erreichbar. Die Unterkunft ist sehr bequem. Wir kommen wieder, wenn wir das nächste mal in Port Douglas sind!

The apartment was conveniently located for the beach and shops. It was spacious and the bed was comfortable. The managers Ken and Colin were very helpful in advising us about the best places to eat etc and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Martinique in Port Douglas. The Daintree Forest, Mossman Gorge and Cape Tribulation trip is a must for guests.

Close to beach as well as shops and restaurants. Liked the beach chairs.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Martinique on Macrossan. The location is perfect just a few steps away from the beautiful beach. The apartment was very comfortable. We used the fabulous bbq facilities one evening which made a welcome change from eating out. On beach days we made use of the beach chairs available to carry to the beach. A perfect stay and would definitely book again.

L'emplacement tout prés de la place Four Miles, la propreté de l'établissement et de la chambre, l'amabilité des hôtes. Un parking gratuit à disposition dans l'enceinte de l'hotel. Par dessus tout, hotel très calme, pas d'enfant.

Notre chambre du rdc était un peu sombre, mais cela a été largement compensé par les nombreux éclairages dans la chambre.
