Campanile Annecy Centre - Gare

I like the cleanliness of this place.

Good experience

The receptionist were very friendly and the location good. The bath in our room was been fixed when we arrived and the breakfast includes mostly sweet unhealthy food (no eggs or vegetables), our room was noisy due to the bar on the street and over all there is no noise isolation between the hotel rooms. They offer a parking ticket for a 10 min walking distance parking lot, which is valid only for the night hours (1 euro per hour before and after).

Everything was perfect. The one thing that I would have liked was a fridge in the room. The weather was extremely hot and I could have done with cold drinks to hand.

Be careful about which room you are given. Despite booking a ‘next generation room’ of which there were numerous pictures on the website I found myself in a pokey attic room lined in wood with a skylight. Extremely depressing! On complaining however the receptionist couldn’t have been more helpful and switched me to a very nice light filled room looking onto the street. I feel a bit guilty that it meant someone else was then given the hole. The new room was comfortable and reasonably spacious with a nice bathroom. I have marked the hotel down on eco friendly as there was one small hook and no rails in the bathroom for what was supposedly a double room. Obviously, any towels were not going to be left for use the next day. Hotel is very centrally located and great if you’re arriving by train.

Three check in lady was warm and friendly (Lucy? Lucie?). Great place steps from the train and good food. Would gladly stay again.

Friendly staff and great location

Staff was very friendly/helpful.

The double bed room we stayed was clean and good size, with light and clean en suite. There are lots of shops, restaurants and coffee shops near the hotel. Only 10 minutes walk to the beautiful Lake Annecy. The receptionists are very well spoken in English. We didn’t try the breakfast as there are lots of good coffee shops near by. I have to say the mattress on our bed was very comfortable. Overall we had a very good and resting stay in the hotel.
