Titel: Schöner Strand, aber enttäuschende Vollpension und fragwürdige Extras Bewertung: ★★★☆☆ (3 von 5) Der Strand war wirklich traumhaft – sauber, ruhig, perfekte 9 von 10 Punkten. Beim Essen hingegen waren wir enttäuscht. Wir hatten Vollpension gebucht, mussten aber bei fast jedem Mittag- und Abendessen zusätzlich zahlen – teilweise bis zur Hälfte des Gesamtpreises. Es war nirgends klar ersichtlich, was in der Vollpension enthalten ist und was extra kostet. Auf den Karten fehlten teilweise sogar die Preise. Besonders negativ fiel uns die Praxis rund ums Wasser auf: In den Buffetrestaurants wurde man zum Tisch begleitet, und sofort wurde Wasser eingeschenkt – eine 1-Liter-Flasche kostet 8 bis 10 Euro. Man wurde so oft gefragt, ob man noch eine will, dass man kaum unter zwei Flaschen davonkam. Das wirkte auf uns aufgesetzt und fast schon manipulativ. Die Zimmer waren modern und stilvoll eingerichtet, aber die Hygiene war nicht auf dem erwarteten Niveau: Matratzen und Bettlaken waren für den Preis maximal 6 von 10 Punkten wert. "Disappointed on Our Second Visit – Not the 5-Star Experience We Remember"

This was our second stay at Sani Resort. We visited last year and were so impressed that we rebooked before even leaving. We’ve recommended Sani to a lot of friends, some of whom are visiting this summer because of us. Sadly, this time was a very different experience. Within our first two nights, we had long delays at dinner — over an hour for drinks and nearly two hours for food. At Lima, we never even got to order mains because the starters took so long we lost our appetite. At Katsu, our kids fell asleep on the chairs waiting for food that was forgotten entirely. The restaurant took two drinks off the bill, but it felt like a very small gesture considering the situation. We also had similar delays when ordering poolside lunch — 1 hour 15 minutes for cold chicken nuggets for the kids, followed by another 30-minute wait for a replacement. This kind of service just isn’t acceptable at a resort of this standard, especially with young children. We raised these concerns with our guest liaison — someone we had a great experience with last year and even brought a gift for this time. Unfortunately, our concerns were met with little more than a quiet “okay, does not sound good.” He later messaged my husband to say he’d try to arrange a villa upgrade as a goodwill gesture (which we didn’t ask for), but then never followed up. We were left completely in the dark. Another issue was with the lifeguard at the Porto pool. His manner toward our young children (just playing with friends in the splash park and pool) was pretty abrupt and harsh versus concerned which scared our 5-year-old enough that he refused to return for several days. He was visibly distressed and said he was “scared” of the lifeguard , refusing to go there without my husband— very out of character for our confident and happy little boy. We did return to Katsu a second time, hoping for improvement as it was a favorite last year, but were seated at an uncomfortably hot corner table while empty cooler tables were held for other guests. The food was bland, the atmosphere flat, and again we felt pushed to the side because we had young kids — even though they’re well-behaved. We waited over a week for a meaningful response to our complaints, and on our final day asked to speak with the GM. We were told he was unavailable, and while the front-of-house manager was kind and apologetic, the only gesture we received was €200 off one of our awful meals and complimentary room service for the kids — offered the night before departure. There’s still a lot to love at Sani — the kids club, The beach house, The Chelsea football academy and housekeeping staff are all excellent — but this year the overall experience felt disorganized, understaffed, and lacking the personal touch that made us fall in love with the resort last time. But for a holiday that cost over €30,000+ we left feeling disappointed and, frankly, relieved to go home. We’re frequent travelers and used to luxury resorts, and this visit fell far below expectations. We sadly won’t be recommending Sani this time around.

We had an amazing stay at Porto Sani, the room was spacious and with a nice balcony overlooking the pool, the kids loved the easy access to the pool as well as the buffet at Artemis which had a big variety of choice for breakfast and dinner. Club cars make your life easier to get from point a to b mitigating the huge span of the resort. We particularly enjoyed our dinners at Lima restaurant which were booked by our concierge Dimitris Charistos who was helping us during our stay here at Porto. Truly a perfect spot for luxurious family vacation.

"Vangelis Volvo Tour"

What a truly wonderful morning we had exploring the Halkidiki peninsula. Vangelis was very knowledgeable about the local area and we returned to Porto with a much greater understanding of the local area. We stopped in several beautiful places to take in the scenery and take photos. It made a lovely break from the compounds of Sani. Thank you Vangelis for such a lovely morning. We had a lovely time!

This was our third visit — and Porto Sani’s excellence just keeps rising. The central lagoon-style pools are stunning, and the splash area is perfectly safe yet exhilarating for kids. Dining at Lima brought bold Peruvian flavours, Elia was our go-to for rich Greek cuisine and fresh seafood. And managing it all with grace was Demetrios, whose impeccable professionalism ensured every detail sparkled.

"Memorable stay at Porto"

Whenever we visit Porto we feel like we are in paradise. Accommodation, Entertainment (for the little guests) and cuisine are all just amazing! After a few times we visited Porto, we got to know Euthimis, Maria and Sakis and they are all great people! Always attentive, willing to help and interesting personalities. We are already looking forward to our next visit!!

4th visit to this wonderful resort, we ask ourselves why do we return ? The answer simply isn’t around the resort accommodation, restaurants or facilities it’s also about the managment and their staff continually making us feel at home . Porto Sani is perfection again. All the staff, all the facilities, all the restaurants are outstanding. Ethimis’s team looked after us beautifully, it feels home from home. A special mention to Jacob at Porto pool for excellent service..
