The University Inn at Emory

The inn was clean and comfortable. The staff was excellent. They are the reason for my 5 star rating. As an out of town patient, I was there almost a month. The staff was friendly, professional and accommodating. I didn't like the kindergarten toilets or the fact I wasn't offered a room with a kitchen considering how long my stay was.

Staff are very welcoming and helpful, true Southern hospitality. The location is excellent for the Emory area. The decor is dated and basic but the room was clean and mattress good. For me, the positives of the stay far outweighed the room's appearance.

Didn’t clean the room on a two night stay and when we asked for two extra towels, housekeeping only delivered one and when we asked front desk for another we were told that housekeeping was too busy and we would need to go to front desk to get it ourselves. This is more like a motel than a hotel.

The bathroom sink would hardly drain. The toilet had a sign on it that you have to hold the handle down to get it to flush properly. If you need or what clean towels you have to go to the front desk. If you want the bed made or room cleaned you need to give 24 hr notice. The staff were very friendly and courteous.
