We had an amazing stay at 1802 House Bed and Breakfast in Kennebunkport, ME! Julianna is an amazing innkeeper. Her home is very cozy, warm and inviting. It has everything you need to have a relaxing stay. The breakfast was super delicious, and Julianna accommodated our dietary restrictions nicely. We also enjoyed touring Kennebunkport and Kennebunk. We look forward to future visits to the area and would definitely stay at 1802 House B&B as well as recommend it to family and friends - thanks Julianna!

This property is several blocks off Dock Square but very convenient and a hidden gem. Lovely house with plenty of parking. The owner Julianna is very friendly, knowledgable and the perfect host. A beautiful breakfast includes home baked goods by her daughter Hannah. A wonderful place to stay and we will be returning.

We arrived at the inn in the evening. The innkeeper, Julianna, left us a key to our room. We went up a narrow winding staircase to our room, known as the York room. Upon entering, we were surprised by the size of the room (only 136 sq ft). There was little space for our luggage except for a small armoire with 3 small drawers. There was a large ceiling fan that was moving rapidly connected to an overhead light. There were 2 remotes for the fan and neither worked so we could not use the fan. We tried the air conditioner, but the fan was too loud at any speed. The next morning, we approached the innkeeper to discuss the room’s issues. She told us there were 2 controls for the fan, one for each side of the bed, although neither worked. She also said we could open the bathroom window to cool off the bedroom. She said that there were no other rooms available for the weekend but if we found another inn to stay for the next few nights, she would refund our money as long as she could book the rooms to another guests. Not wanting to take a chance on losing over $700, we decided to stay, but we asked her to address our concerns. She said that she has never had any complaints about that room in the past (untrue, see other reviews of that particular room) and our discussion was over. We went back to our room only to find the television did not work either. We called her about this issue and she became angry and rude to us telling us she is changing her policy and she wants us to leave the inn within a hour, refunding our money for the next two nights. Fortunately, we found a wonderful inn (Lady Mary Inn at Hurd Manor) nearby. Our rating is a 2/5 based on the breakfast she served us being amendable to our dietary needs and the inn’s proximity to Kennebunkport. We wish the innkeeper would have addressed our concerns in a more professional manner to have prevented the unfortunate situation.

My wife and I stayed here for a few nights to celebrate our 25th anniversary and couldn't be more pleased with the B&B. We stayed in the Sebago room, and it was just as advertised. The bed was very comfortable, the jacuzzi was delightful, and drinks on the private deck was a great way to end our evening. Julianna, the Innkeeper, was extremely pleasant and a great source of info for things to do, places to eat, etc. We received a link for the B&B app with our reservation confirmation, and it answered most of our questions before and during the trip. Finally, the 3 course breakfast was a great way to start the day. Simply delicious. Can't wait to visit again!

The 1802 House is a charming bed and breakfast in beautiful Kennebunkport. Juliana welcomed us and was a truly wonderful host. The inn is lovely and breakfast was top rate. Our only complaint is that our stay was so short! We would absolutely stay at The 1802 House again when in Kennebunkport amd would recommend a stay there to family and friends.
