The Birchwood

Front desk persons were awesome. Location is great. Food was great. I have traveled the world and the food is comparable to Chicago,Texas, Barcelona and Italian high end steaks. Great wine selection. USA and international.

The property was stunning. The atmosphere is very upscale. The room was beautiful and the beds were very comfortable. The bathroom was wonderful and the bathtub was great for a relaxing bubble bath. The staff was so friendly and accommodating. Bruno and Ajenae were outstanding! The rooftop bar was lively and had a beautiful backdrop. The location was also great, as we were able to walk to the pier.

The toilet didn't flush that great. The furniture in the room was a little beat up from wear and tear. The breakfast was only an assortment of packaged pastries, cereals, and whole fruit. The room I had was nice, however it was facing the walkway to the bar entrance so It was loud at night.

Little bit noisy in the evening, which is common for downtown.

Had a delightful evening with friends on Friday, listening to the cute pianist, Simon — he was fun, funny, and beyond talented! Then we went to the rooftop — which had terrific munchies and a great DJ. It was an unexpected treat!
