Gorgeous, felt like a really special room

I struggled to get my bags in and would’ve hoped there would be help available outside

Prima locatie, beetje oud hotel maar wel redelijk schoon. Ik moest veel dingen vragen; zoals het opruimen van glaswerk etc en er was geen waterkoker in de kamer voor thee. Ze vullen ook de amenities bij maar had geen zin om dat weer te vragen. Mensen zijn vriendelijk. Ontbijt is zeer minimaal.

The location was perfect. Staff was 10/10 and very accommodating. Perfect morning walk to the pier. Loved the bathroom and the claw foot tub.

The hotel did not have a pool unfortunately , and it was quite loud but thankfully restaurant was closed around ten. I imagine on the Weeknd it would be very loud with the roof top bar.

We loved the location and close distance to the pier! It made walking everywhere very easy! The staff was friendly and valet was easy to access and use.

The rooms are dark and dated. While it was a nice Victorian style room, once you peeled back the curtains, you could see it needed to be deep cleaned. Dust was scattered all over the mirrors, light fixtures and walls. There was a dirty tissue in the towel hamper. Candy under the credenza where it hadn’t been vacuumed up. On top of that, the bed was dated and lumpy, along with the pillows. Little details matter when you are paying hundreds of dollars for a nightly stay.
